When we talked about how Derrick Smith and Ryan Hogan planned the 5K Zombie Run back last year, it was one of those things sort of supposed to be a goof — the event was mainly designed for fun and to draw attention to Hogan’s new apparel line.
As it turns out, 10,000 people can’t be wrong: Smith and Hogan were so impressed by the turnout that they decided to do it again — this time, directly as a tribute to AMC hit The Walking Dead.
Instead of a low-key event with a few dozen zombies, this event will consist of enduring an obstacle course, and of course avoiding tons of mindless zombie hordes running/walking at different speeds while, of course, trying to kill you.
