Saints Row 4 will drop on August 20, 2013 in North America, publisher Deep Silver announced today (via Polygon). The company also released the title’s debut trailer, you can check it out below.

Saints Row 4 will come to current generation consoles and PC this summer. “From the Crack House to the White House, The ball-busting next chapter in the Saints Row franchise, is starting a party in your pants this August,” the new trailer’s description reads.

Saints Row 4 Could Be Shipping on “current gen consoles in late August”

With the recent dissolution of THQ properties and development studios, most people expected that it may take a bit to hear from games like Saints Row while things get re-organized.

Today rumors coming from a design director on the original Saints Row said that SR4 would be shipping this year on current generation hardware. Publisher Deep Silver is yet to confirm any the details on the situation (via IGN).

It looks like the new Mario game Nintendo teased us with earlier this year is coming to fruition in the form of New Super Mario Bros 2. The Nintendo press release confirmed the new title will be coming to the 3DS in both North America and Japan this summer.

The New Super Mario Bros. 2 will be a brand new adventure in the series continuing the tradition of side scrolling Mario games. Of course the title will feature Mario and Luigi, but it will also include “loads of other favorite characters from the popular Mario series.”
