Ray’s the Dead is a new story driven action-puzzler, where players will take on the role of Ray and his army of zombies. The game will feature “a satisfying blend of action, tactics, puzzle, stealth, and adventure.” Having garnered a great reception at PAX East and in development by Chicago based Ragtag Studio, Ray’s the Dead will be releasing on PC, Mac and Linux “at the end of 2013.”
Comprised of former Stubbs the Zombie developers, Ragtag Studio is inspired by both Stubbs and Pikmin: “It has been said that Stubbs the Zombie could be Ray’s dirty old uncle,” and that Ray can control his horde similar to “how Olimar controls his army of Pikmin.”

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is the latest offering from Riddick developers Starbreeze. Today the company has released some gameplay footage which you can check out below (via CVG).
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons features a very interesting and unique gameplay mechanic, you control both brothers at once on a single controller. Players control the big brother with the left stick and the little brother with the right. Having to control both brothers at once is where the game’s platforming and puzzle elements really shine.

Imagine you were forced to perform open heart surgery–welcome to Surgeon Simulator 2013. Although graphic, the game seems to take on a more humorous appeal then you may think (via GI). Check out the hilarious gameplay video below.
Tasked with performing open heart surgery using any tools available, players must complete the operation in the quickest time with the least amount of blood loss possible.
The game gives the player control of each of the surgeon’s fingers with what appears to be almost rag-doll like mechanics–and it’s hilarious to watch. The game apparently features a “revolutionary one-to-one finger manipulation control system” and “realistic surgical tool physics.”

Just in case you are wondering how Siri integration will work on the new iPhone 4S, below we’ll walk you through what you can expect from Apple’s new voice-controlled personal assistant. As you can see from the video below, the feature allows you to control tasks on your phone such as scheduling calendar items, reading and sending emails, sending texts, searching the web, and presumably anything that could be controlled using a voice command.
You can activate the feature by simply holding the home button briefly, much the same as the iPhone 4′s current Voice Control feature Continue reading “Apple’s new Siri personal assistant for iPhone 4S explained” »
