With DC focusing its attention on the Man of Steel and Justice League movies, auto-makers Kia and DC Entertainment have collaborated on a brand new car known as the  Optima Hybrid Superman One, a self-explanatory environmentally conscious Optima, painted to look like Supes himself.

While Clark would certainly approve of its green theme, really, what’s the point IF IT CAN’T FLY? Continue reading “Kia and DC Comics Build Hybrid Superhero Car for a Good Cause” »

DC, however, thought better of renewing Simone’s contract (which expired recently): Yesterday, the Batgirl author tweeted that she’d been relieved of her duties last week by editor Brian Cunningham. Continue reading “DC Fires Bestselling ‘Batgirl’ Writer Gail Simone (By Email)” »

It would result either in her instant annihilation, or the embryo would eventually kick straight out of her stomach.

The editors of Justice League have finally realized this, and have decided to go ahead with the already-obvious-to-the-rest-of-the-world idea of a torrid love affair between Superman and Wonder Woman. It even made the cover of Entertainment Weekly this week, with art courtesy of the mighty Jim Lee.

Alex Seropian. A name that’s getting more and more (in)famous every day, largely because he’s co-creator of both one of the most famous sci-fi games ever, as well as its parent company, Bungie Software. But in addition to the world of Halo and the millions its entertained, Seropian has moved on from his endeavors at Disney Interactive as head of game development, and is now onto possibly bigger and better things at his newest company, Industrial Toys.

Armed with President Tony Harris, some formidable talent from some ex-DC and Marvel Comics (man, what it takes to get those two to work together), and a vision to make the mobile gaming industry an unparalleled and truly 1337 force Continue reading “Halo Creator Teams Up With Ex-Marvel and DC Guys. There’s been a fairly big backlash against the ‘highly sexualized’ rebooted editions of DC Comics heroines. Starfire is one of these comics, and she also happens to be the hero for a particular 7-year old comic book fangirl. Continue reading “Some Call D.C.
