With Blizzard Entertainment’s first StarCraft II expansion releasing today, perhaps it is a pertinent time to take a look at a less high-profile title releasing later this year from the property that helped inspire StarCraft. We’re talking about Full Control’s upcoming Warhammer game, Space Hulk. Continue reading “‘Space Hulk’ Brings Space Marines and Aliens To Your Computer And iOS” »

At SDCC earlier this year, Geek World Radio’s AnnaMay and Dave sat down with Jace Hall and Hulk writer Peter David to talk about everything from Fan Wars to who would win in a fight between Superman and the Hulk.
Though THAT question would have to be left for the Fan Wars, Jace and David were able to give a sneak preview for what they were working on for Stan Lee’s World of Heroes Youtube Channel. Continue reading “Geek World Radio talks Fan Wars and Superhero Sitcoms with Jace Hall and Peter David” »

But it’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt, or in this case, can’t physically remove their costume.
According to Comic Book Resources, the foremost authority in people who can’t remove Continue reading “Man Cosplays As Hulk, Can’t Remove Green Ink” »

Courtesy of College Humor, here is Dr. Banner’s girlfriend Betty Ross – dressed like one of the wives from Goodfellas, for some reason — and acting, well, kind of skanky. She seems curious about the same thing many 2nd and 3rd graders are probably curious about: specifically, how big is that thing exactly?
Here’s your answer. Sort of…
Meanwhile, seems a few critics Continue reading “Betty Wants to See Hulk’s Junk in New Short” »

When the superhero blockbusters come pouring out of the cinemas, usually what we have to deal with are crummy fast food chain tie-ins and/or products that invariably end up at Target. It seems only fitting, however, that in anticipation of Joss Whedon’s latest they’d release something so quirky, so weird, so awesome in its originality, so…Joss Whedon-y.

Had your share of overblown, over congested and utterly ridiculous movie posters? How about those extremely lame Photoshop jobs on your favorite Hollywood stars?
Fortunately artists Marko Manev, Hexagonall, and Edson Muzada have crafted some extremely cool minimalist movie posters, paying tribute to comic book movies in a 1950s style that’s heavily reminiscent of the Golden Age of cinema.
Here’s a look at a few that stand out: Continue reading “5 of the Best Minimalist Comic Book Movie Posters You May Ever See” »
