Earlier this week we reported to you on next week’s DLC coming to Assassin’s Creed 3. Season Pass holders were lucky enough to get their hands on the game’s first DLC yesterday, but Xbox 360 owners weren’t so lucky when installing The Hidden Secrets DLC caused various parts of the game’s save data to be erased or corrupted.

Reports began popping up online yesterday where 360 users were claiming that the first DLC for the expansive AC3 was causing them to lose their game progress (via GT).

Not all users who installed the DLC experienced this but those that did took to the Ubisoft forums for support. The posts range from people who lost their main campaign progress upon installing the DLC pack to others reporting the opposite, where the main campaign progress is fine but all the side-mission data has been lost.

Today images of the final issue of Nintendo Power have hit the internet. The cover is a tribute to the very first Nintendo Power cover from the late 80′s.

Depicting Mario and Bowser, the newest and very last Nintendo Power cover is a modern day re-creation of its very first (via GI).

The last issue of Nintendo Power hits newsstands on December 11 and will be mailed to subscribers in the coming days. Take a look at the nostalgic cover below.

Some EA Origin security issues have surfaced with an untold number of accounts being hijacked. According to Eurogamer some of the service’s users have been emailed by Origin saying that they have successfully changed their account’s password or email even when they have not. A handful or more of these cases have popped up on various outlets including the NeoGaf forum and the EA support boards.

Digital Foundry’s Richard Leadbetter was one of these unfortunate souls to have their account hijacked. Below you can see the email he received from Origin.

No way around it — abortion’s one of those topics which elicits some insanely heated debate.

Everyone has an opinion on it, and from those Oxygen/Lifetime movies, to the big screen, lots of people have their agenda and love to shove it in the viewer’s face.

Except for Joss Whedon, apparently, who insists that his latest issue of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is neither pro-abortion/anti-abortion/anything in between Continue reading “Joss Whedon Defends ‘Buffy’ Abortion Comic” »
