Screen Shot 2013-03-07 at 12.38.20 PMThe newest iteration in the SimCity franchise recently launched to fairly favorable reviews. The main problem is the online connectivity issues many players are experiencing.

After US gamers struggled during the launch to connect with the game, new reports from Australian gamers with the same issue have surfaced. Players in that region are having a hard time accessing SimCity’s Oceanic servers (via Polygon).

Not only is there connectivity problems, some Australian region gamers are reporting that their entire cities have been deleted.

Screen Shot 2013-03-06 at 12.38.38 PMGabe Newell has stated that Valve plans to have its prototype gaming consoles ready for testing within the coming months.

Newell spoke with the BBC just before the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Games Awards (BAFTA) where he said, “The main thing that’s holding us up… we have a couple of different controllers prototypes we’re using.”

Newell went on talk about what stage the company is at in the process,  some of the final issues it must overcome before the full reveal and some interesting new tech that could make its way to the upcoming console.

The Skyrim add-on Dragonborn releases tomorrow and some new details have leaked from a game tester about what we are in store for. Even more surprisingly is the news that Skyrim DLC will finally be making its way to the PS3, Bethesda has confirmed today.

Bethesda posted on its official blog today about the release of Dragonborn on Xbox 360 tomorrow along with a special announcement. PS3 and PC users will finally be getting the first bit of Skyrim DLC since the game released over a year ago.

The Elder Scrolls Skyrim expansion, Dawnguard, has been available for quite a while on both Xbox 360 and PC, but PS3 users are still waiting.

While Bethesda has been mostly quiet about when we will be seeing the DLC hit the PS3 the company has recently posted some new info on the matter in its forums. (via Joystiq)

Facebook is running a new campaign that will allow users to share their opinions on a giant Times Square billboard in New York City. The “What Matters Most To You?” campaign is asking users to submit their opinions on the 2012 election season for a chance to get their spotlight on the big screen.

To enter, first you have to visit and like the campaign’s Facebook page. You will then be prompted to select three of the “issues that matter most” to you. Some of the options (pictured below) include Debt, Economy, Energy, Environment, Health Care, Immigration, National Security, Social Issues, and Social Security.
