Yesterday we brought you the initial reports on the newest Assassin’s Creed title, Black Flag.
A leaked poster depicted a new assassin in what appeared to be a pirate themed game. Turns out the game is real and has been officially announced by Ubisoft.
The company took to Twitter this morning with the game’s official box cover art (seen below). We can clearly see what appears to be the very same new assassin in today’s official art as we did in yesterday’s leaked retail poster.

Information on a supposedly upcoming new Assassin’s Creed game has been leaked online in the way of a new promotional poster. In a photo of the poster recently obtained by Kotaku, we can clearly see the title Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag.
The poster also contained a map on the reverse side which seems to tell us where the game will take place. We have a supposed screenshot from the game courtesy of the Examiner below as well.

Watch Dogs was by far the most exciting and interesting new announcement to come out of E3 last year. Today we have news on the game from leaked marketing material received by Kotaku.
According to the leaked poster Watch Dogs will be coming out this Holiday for “all home consoles.”
In the leaked images below you can see the front and back of the poster. We also see a quote from G4 that talks about the game being a “truly next-gen adventure.”

The open world action game Sleeping Dogs looks as though it will be receiving some new DLC based on a new trailer and a leaked Playstation 3 Trophy list that surfaced online. The trailer shows that the DLC will be themed around the Chinese New Year, which takes place in a couple weeks on February 10.
At this point neither Square Enix or United Front Games have made any official announcements about this content. The DLC looks to be called Sleeping Dogs: Year of the Snake. Check out the leaked Year of the Snake DLC trailer below (via Eurogamer).

New details on the mysterious Disney gaming project have been leaked to Polygon recently. According to the leaked images and videos the media outlet received, we now know that although some of the rumored details about the game remain true some of them do not.
Disney Infinity will be an open world sandbox game that features what Polygon calls “the best of Minecraft creation with the absurdity of Just Cause’s over-the-top action moments, all in a child-friendly world,” filled the Disney’s and Pixar’s most iconic characters from over the years.

Recently, footage of a cancelled Streets of Rage game has leaked online. The game was in development at Ruffian Games and was to be a 3D re-imagining of the classic title. Check out the unreleased gameplay footage below.
The footage originally leaked to Vimeo a few days ago, dug up by SegaDriven (via Eurogamer), shows a clip of a 3D prototype for the game. The video’s description read: “Streets of Rage re-imagining for digital download console title”. Only rumor at the time, the footage was then confirmed to be real when a former Ruffian dev spoke up on Twitter about it with a link to the video.

Rockstar has officially announced a “Spring 2013″ release window for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 5 today. This comes after images containing the date were leaked earlier this morning.

Watch Dogs, an action adventure title that revolves around ubiquitous computing and hacking, has caused quite a controversy today when users on the game’s site had their email addresses leaked. In its promotional alternate reality game, Watch Dogs asked players to sign up on the site to get updates on fictional scenarios taking place in the game world.
Ubisoft has created this alternate reality game based on a character by the name of Joseph Demarco who is the owner of the futuristic art gallery, dotconnexion. UPDATE: Ubisoft (via The Verge) has now released the cover art for Assassin’s Creed 3 which seems to validate the leaked images from earlier. It also contains American Revolution imagery.
An official statement from Ubisoft also confirms the March 5 unveiling that the anonymous Best Buy employee leaked. The statement read, “We confirm that Ubisoft will announce all the details of Assassin’s Creed III on Monday, March 5th at 5pm.”

With no official announcement from Sony, BT Games in South Africa is now taking pre orders for God of War IV. Giving a TBA release date of February 2013, the retailer began taking pre-orders on what they’re only calling “The next instalment in the ever popular God of War franchise”.
Although there is nothing confirmed regarding the existence of a new God of War game, as pointed out on GT, BT Games has been accurate with leaked information about other triple A titles in the past. The South African retailer, allegedly briefed by local distributors, was privy to information on the multiplayer in Mass Effect 3, as well as the existence of The Jak and Daxter Collection.
