KadeshFlow’s latest rap is an untitled tribute to the world of Rurouni Kenshin, one of the most beloved cult-ish anime/mangas from the mid-nineties.

It’s also getting a good deal of love from anime fanboys and girls ’round the world, and continues KadeshFlow’s #nerdcrunk series of raps. This particular song, which actually doesn’t seem to have a name, pays tribute to Nobuhiro Watsuki’s serialized manga, and sort of acts as an unofficial alternate to Branson’s #OtakuTuesdays stuff. Behind the scenes video of the cast and crew from the Live-Action film Rurouni Kenshin hit the web today, profiling director Keishi Ōtomo as he works with the cast and crew.

The video runs around 17 minutes, and features some excellent sneak peaks at the film’s action scenes. The film is the live action tribute to the enormously popular manga turned anime, which according to the Rurouni Kenshin wikipedia page, is slated to come out this Friday in Japan (and however else Anime fans decide to watch it).

Anime cult favorite Rurouni Kenshin is finally on its way to movie theaters (at least in Japan) with a live-action adaptation. While it’s being licensed by a Japanese film production company, call it a slim if somewhat delusional hope for worldwide release due to Warner Bros. backing it.
