Yep, turns out de-friending someone on Facebook can have a big impact, often in a very real-world/personal way.

Trent Reznor Composes Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Theme, New Trailer Hits

Activision confirmed today that none other than Trent Reznor has composed the theme to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 as a new trailer for the game (below) hit the web.
Reznor, best known as the frontman of Nine Inch Nails, has recently worked on some pretty high profile films including David Fincher’s Girl with The Dragon Tattoo and The Social Network.

Crytek Developing Social Network For Gamers With OnLive-like Streaming

There are a few sites that claim to be a Facebook dedicated to gamers, but nothing like a new service called “GFACE” being developed with help from Crysis developers Crytek. From screenshots posted by Kotaku, the GFACE is not only the ultimate Facebook/Google+ for gamers, it’s also an innovative online game streaming platform that scales from mobile devices to traditional PCs.
GFACE, like Facebook and most other social networks, will run your browser. Some of the innovative features highlighted in Kotaku’s report: integrated video chat, and drag-and-drop friend invites, and the ability to access your friends list to share content like Xbox Live– such as watching a movie together. Chegg is a pretty cool company. They’ve managed to help thousands of students afford textbooks for college by creating a renting system that works really well. Myspace Embarrased: Passed Over by LINKEDIN

Alright, this is just silly. Myspace didn’t just got beat by Facebook, LinkedIn just sped by and curbstomped the beleaguered social network. Which, to make sure our metaphors are still in perspective, is like the most popular kid in school getting sped by and curbstomped by that nerd he shoved in lockers back in the ninth grade.
On second thought, LinkedIn probably isn't....quite so crazy.
Despite Justin Timberlake’s desire to turn Myspace into a talent show, the once-great website took another plunge as LinkedIn’s user numbers jumped to make it the #2 most popular social network in the world. To be fair to Myspace, the recent economic downturn has made plenty of out-of-work Americans turn to LinkedIn in order to help network their way back into employment. (Or for fresh-out-of-college interns to keep in touch with their colleagues.)
So is this the equivalent of the internet turning twenty? First, we had the awkward teenage years with Myspace, then we went to College with Facebook. Are we growing up now that Google+ and LinkedIn are storming the scene?
