Apple releases GarageBand app for iPhone and iPod touch

Previously only available on iPad, Apple has updated their GarageBand mobile app ($4.99) to be a universal iOS app compatible on iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch.
The amateur digital audio workstation is a scaled-back version of the desktop app that has shipped with Mac OS X (now as part of iLife 11) for years and is typically considered the beginner’s version of Apple’s professional DAW, Logic Studio.
