BoingBoing Video’s ‘Game Deaths’ is a pretty self-explanatory title for compiling some of the greatest 8/16 bit deaths in video game history. While most of them are arguably some of the arcade’s greatest ever, don’t expect to see Mario in there; the assembly here seems largely (but not all) Sega-based. Actually, it’s really (relatively, of course) old sh*t, like Master System-era: Out Run, Hang-On, Alex Kidd, Wonder Boy, and a bunch more, all done to an 8-bit version of Tears for Fears’ “Mad World.”
