We’ll get straight to it, since this sounds pretty awesome right off the bat: SOEmote, a new device/webcam launched by the makers of EverQuestII, allows players to use their own facial expressions to add ‘emotion’ to their characters.
This new piece of technology debuted at E3 to some excitement, allowing for a bunch of attendees to test out the latest in motion/expression-capturing photography, which then maps it directly to the faces of their avatars.
